Hi Poppiesrara (love to know what that signifies!)
Have only recently joined but during that time I've read quite a few of your reports, including those of mid-Wales as we are off there next Friday.
My husband and I did the 3 Moels last March and wildcamped on Moel Hebog with a view of Snowdon from our door. I didn't really fancy going through the forest and so we started our walk from the head of Cwm Pennant, onto Moel Lefn and eventually to Moel Hebog, returning via the old railway along Cwm Pennant with a view of part of the Nantlle ridge all the way. It was very enjoyable, the weather was just like summer both days and, having camped in a perfect spot, about half way up Moel Hebog, we were able to walk to the top the next morning, unencumbered by rucksacks, to beautiful views from the top. Wonderful!
Have uploaded a photo of our camping spot, my husband just finishing off pitching the tent. I hope you don't mind.
