A surprisingly easy-going and pleasant walk, given the reputation of this peak. The paths up and down the valley-sides are lovely, but even the two or three miles on the summit of flat peat are alright in the dry. It's the easy tussocky sort of bog - challenging leaping between the dry bits, but not relentless wet steps, and several interesting rock formations to catch the eye.
