Silver How Circular walk from Grasmere Village

Mid March and a nice afternoon trek around the village of Grasmere and up Red Bank and onto the ridge over looking Grasmere. A nice easy stroll with fantastic view over the Grasmere basin and surrounding fells.

For the majority of the way the ground under foot held well and only one wet patch in the hollow of two raises caused any problems. (not to me however, but Ellie nearly made me £250 for her rock dancing across the bog)

Climbing Silver How

The summit trek was slightly steeper but we seemed to fly up it taking in a few pics from the northern end of Grasmere on the way
