A cool dry morning as we set off for the Peaks, our target was Kinder Downfall :D

We parked near Barber Booth and set off at 10am towards Upper Booth and the walk up the waterfall of Crowden Clough

We were soon amongst the rocks and boulders

Tippy toes
Not easy going as we push the big rocks aside

Heave ho!

Keep going

It was steeper than the photo's show but thankfully dry

I have done lots of climbing and scrambling with the gang but always very wary

Steady as you go
We reached the top of the waterfall and reached the peat boggy area

We then reached the last post before descending and making our way back to the car

A classic walk in good conditions, thanks for looking, Sue :D :D :D

Were you up there this weekend, Sue?

I was on the other side of Kinder doing the Mam Tor ridge and Edale to Win Hill. If you were out on Sunday I missed you by just a few hundred yards!
