KINDER DOWNFALL AND EDGE

A cool dry morning as we set off for the Peaks, our target was Kinder Downfall
We parked near Barber Booth and set off at 10am towards Upper Booth and the walk up the waterfall of Crowden Clough We were soon amongst the rocks and boulders Not easy going as we push the big rocks aside It was steeper than the photo's show but thankfully dry I have done lots of climbing and scrambling with the gang but always very wary We reached the top of the waterfall and reached the peat boggy area After crossing this area we reached Kinder Gates Not much further on we reached Kinder Downfall and some superb views We then followed the Pennine Way until we reached Kinder Low at 633m Continuing down southwards we reached a very, very boggy Brown Knoll We then reached the last post before descending and making our way back to the car A classic walk in good conditions, thanks for looking, Sue
