One from back in 2009 which is a great day out if your in the area.Timing this for a quieter time of year would make the experience much better. We were there June on one the hottest weeks I have experienced in the UK.We couldn't have timed our holiday better for some sun.
The day we chose to go to the Eden project started hazy but by the time we arrived the heat was unbearable, the older of my two daughters had already been ill in the car due to a mix of windy Cornish roads and heat.
The Eden Project is pricey but a good little walk within a disused quarry with very large domes containing different environments. The two main domes are the Rainforest Biome and the Mediterranian Biome.Outside there are paths heading in all directions with sculptures and other things to keep the little ones happy.
I used this day as an introduction to walking in a way for the older of my daughters and it was a hit.If your into plants, the environment or just want to go somewhere different this is a good day out.Keeping the kids amused for a full day made the outing priceless.
