With Naomi's Dad.

Our car at the north end, Jon's at the south end. Walked north to south. Started at 8am, so much of the early ascent was in the shade (excellent!) and even when not, the sun was not too strong. As much sun/temp as previous day by much windier so more comfortable.

Good walk along the "ridge", plenty of people on Helvellyn and on the approach thereto, but many were missing out the other peaks- eg Nethermost Pike. Nethermost Pike was our 100th Wainwright!

Seat Sandal had large party celebrating someone's completion.

Descent off Seat Sandal was a good route for us and for Jon's knees, got hot lower down, out of the wind.

Enough time for us to go our separate ways and have shower's before dinner at Casa Bella in Keswick, followed by card games at Grange.
