A trip to Wasdale Head on a windy and misty day - firstly to do Lingmell which Wendy needs.
Years since I've been up it from Wasdale so a nice change - but the high winds putting me off extending the route to Scafell Pike.
With plenty of time left before checking into the hotel, I dropped Wendy off at a farm shop for a brew and took on Latterbarrow - which I thought was an Outlying Fell but turns out to just be a Tump.
Oh well....woodland paths and then a bit of a bash through the plantations to get to the top.

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
