Nice day, nice walk, nice video and nice music Petr. The moment at the summit of Great Gable where you show the FRCC memorial, and "Danny Boy" kicks in, was inspired!

I was daft enough to be out on the fells (Ullscarf) the day before, which turned out to be damp and miserable - a total contrast to the fine, sunny day you enjoyed.

Nice video . Not sure what the helicopter was doing in the area. There was a MRT callout for a couple of walkers cragfast on Scafell Pike but I don't think a helicopter was used. The weather looked great but very cold.

Not sure about the helicopter, but left shortly after landing so probably picked up someone waiting there, hope nothing serious...
You are right about the Weather: Great visibility, but more than just fresh cold !

I was especially interested because your film shows a prominent reverse scarp (at 7.20.mins. from below and at 7.40.mins. from the summit) which runs across Kirk Fell's south west facing slope above Mosedale. It's the top end of a system of large scale rotational slumps which became active towards the end of the last ice age but which, unlike the one which created Dove Crags on Grasmoor, never failed completely. The scarps show up really well in your film (and on air photos like, say, those on Google Maps) and make you realise how different the shape of Kirk Fell would be if these slopes had failed as the last major Mosedale glacier disappeared around 15,000 years ago!
You must have enjoyed the day - the lighting and the autumn colours in the film are spectacular!

I did read and have watched some documentary information about Ben Nevis and Assynt / Torridon mountains but I did not know much about those in the Lakes.
