We must have been lucky this weekend because we woke to the sun shining just like the day before.This time though it was Gowbarrow Fell and Aira Force we had to look forward to.
The walk started from the free car park at the top of Aira Force before heading down the valley following the falls.
From there I left the rest of the gang to head up Gowbarrow Fell before returning to the car and picking the girls up from the lower National Trust car park.

It does have grand views for a small Wainwright.
