I'd done a half-marathon not long before this, and therefore was extremely blase about 16 miles in the local hills - but this seemed incredibly tough! (It probably wouldn't now...). Some of the best walking in Leicestershire, on a good day, with Old John in Bradgate Park and Hill Hole the highlights.
