The second walk of the day we parked in Buttermere on the NT car park
After a short walk on the road past Crag Houses we turned right onto the fell and could see the ridge above us called Low Bank and the summit to the left of the rock outcrop This walk was all about the views in the Buttermere valley, an area my husband loves and thinks its the best views in the Lakes. As we gained height the valley opened up to us. Higher still we could see the black of Haystacks and the two Gables behind To the front right we had the dark mass of Grasmoor and Whiteless Pike nearer to us, looking back down the ridge was Robinson summit behind High Snockrigg The ridge was laid out in front of us towards the rock outcrop We can't get enough of the view towards Buttermere We now reached the rock outcrop with a short climb before the run to the summit On the summit there was a clear view all around On the way back one last photo of the bulk of Robinson A nice walk with so many wonderful views
