I hiked Snowdon early last June. My research hinted that 'd likely enjoy the Rhyd Ddu path the most, so off we went. Well, what a hike!!! We lost visibility relatively early on. The gales were intense, but it felt fun and like an adventure, coming across sheep through the thick cloud almost at the point as I was about to trip over them. The summit was a bit of a shock after the beautifully quiet path up, but quite the adventure. Not my favourite hike of that trip, but I guess it has to be done at least once. After a few scrambles in the Lakes later that summer, I'd eager to go back and do Crib Goch. I've put together a video of our hike if you're interested - hope you enjoy it if you choose to watch it.
