This walk I'd been looking forward to for a long time, starting at Malham and doing the classic circuit including Janets Foss, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn and Malham Cove.
The scenery throughout was stunning with numerous points of interest.
My wife tagged along for this one and did her first scramble.Pictures just do not do Gordale Scar justice.

It certainly is one of the classic areas of Yorkshire and you managed to avoid the Packamac brigade by doing it on a Monday so I bet it was a peaceful walk. I was at the Tarn briefly a few weeks ago on a long trek from Arncliffe to bag Fountains Fell and Darnbrook Fell. Turned out to be a very wet day.
