Monday saw me taking train from Harrogate via Leeds to Horton in Ribblesdale. Once arrived at Horton at 10:20 i had 11hrs in which to get back for the last train

now at he viaduct it is a very impresive site an probably the best of all of the viaducts built in this country with glenfinnen probably being equal or a little behind

That certainly was a challenging day and I bet you were glad to be back on the train afterwards. I've givrn up any thoughts of doing the three peaks in one bash but power to your elbow for completing it.

The real challenge i think in doing the 3 peaks in 1 go is not doing the actual mountainsbut the walk between penygent and whernside thats where i started to feal the aches on my legs. If i had driven i might have enjoyed it a bit more but as i went by train i had to be at Horton station by 21:00hrs which i was there with 15 mins to spare. A great walk to do if the weather is good and would fullt recomend it

Its 24 miles and took me 10:30 mins
