Haystacks

Walk alongside Buttermere and up Scarth Gap Pass onto Haystacks where we camped overnight at Innominate Tarn before descending back down below Fleetwith Pike down to Penny Bridge

Nice set of pictures, looks like you had fun, though your commrades look pretty knackered in that second photo. :)

Thanks, looking down the Buttermere valley from Fleetwith or Haystacks is our favourite view 8)

The second photo was taken from the first 100 m after leaving the lake side.
It took my wife a little time to adjust to the uphill but the rest of the walk seemed easier for them after this picture was taken.
It was Charlie's first fell and my first wild camp for well over 20 years.
Loved every minute !!
