Started the walk at mid morning from the village of Belstone. Parked the car by the water board pumping station. The weather on the day was mixed with sunshine wind and rain. Most of the walk was done on wide tracks that criss cross the moor. Our first stop was West Mill Tor then on to Yes Tor on leaving Yes Tor the heavens opened and by the time we reached High wilhays we were pretty wet. We then made our way back accoss the moor to start our way up to Belstone Tor via Higher Tor From Belstone Tor we made our way accross Belstone common back to the car and a pint in the village pub. Many thanks to my mate Gary for keeping me company on this walk.

That's a nice route Chris, I do like the look of those tors.
Looks like you had a mostly clear day despite the drenching. :)

An enjoyable report and brings back happy memories :D Whenever we walked on Dartmoor it was either misty or not a cloud in the sky
