We did this walk on the last day of our holiday as I wasn't able to get to the trip organised by a friend of mine a couple of weeks earlier.

The weather was dire - caught the beginning of the incoming tail end of hurricane Katiana so it was blowing a hoolie on the ridge to the extent that it was blowing the dogs over! Simply made for the summit and headed straight back again along the pony path - Vis was barely 10 metres throughout most of the ridge line although cleared when you came down off the shoulder of the mountain.

Really need to do this again when the weather is a bit better - if you want to see some photo's see Willywalkers write up!
