Bardon Hill

A walk on my doorstep, finding a quiet-ish route through the woods and fields east of Coalville from Stanton to the county high-point at Bardon Hill with its impressive quarry; as befits the highest point for 30+ miles in all directions, a good viewpoint. The route back was via the nature reserves at Billa Barra (a pretty wooded hill) and Hill Hole (a reclaimed quarry with some testing scrambling/rock-climbing features).
