A short local walk, low-level to avoid the fog. Cannock Chase is a very accessible AONB, and hence the clear paths are extremely popular with cyclists as well as walkers. There are pleasant areas of mixed woodlands and the occasional wilder patch of open heath amid small but occasionally quite steep hills. A reasonable leg-stretcher, but nothing to really get the adrenaline pumping...
