Parking at the Methodist Chapel Deepdale follow the Craven way until path off on right up Whernside to summit. Return via path via Whernside tarns to Craven way then down path into Deepdale and allong road back to car.

Good walk though, I love Deepdale and Dentdale. Would like the be in the Sun Inn at Dent this very moment.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks are great walks from the train by the way... Horton-in-Ribblesdale for Penyghent, Ribblehead for Whernside or Ingleborough/Simon Fell/Park Fell, Clapham for Ingleborough...
