One of the best walks I've done in a long time. Parked at Buttermere then walked round the lake which was clear as glass giving lovely reflections of the surrounding hills. Climbed up the side of Warnscale Beck to the top of Green Crag then round to Haystacks. Dropping back down Buttermere Fell to the lake and back round to Buttermere for an ice cream.
