As you can see from the map I got slightly lost after Sergeant man to tell the truth i'm not sure I ever found it will have to go back soon just to verify I was in the right place. Good job it was a lovely clear day as it didnt take long to get back on track as I could see where I was relative to the Ark. I must get some navigation lessons I had map and compass but still found myself off course, Any way was another wonderful day out in the fells great vis no rain little wind wonderful. Here is a map of the route and a few pictures.

There's a lot of Squiggles on that map. I must say I was up there (High Raise Sgt Man) today and the lie of the land can be a bit confusing in poor weather. Can't say I fancy your diversion to visit Codale Tarn!! Still what better way to spend a sunny day than out on the tops.

That looks familiar, But if I went there I must of been very confused, I need to cross something off my list and i'm not sure now if I thought that was Thunacar Knott. Think i'll have to go back and do the whole thing again.

On the map it only looks to be a couple of hundred yards from the summit of High raise.

Thanks Chris, I was never really lost as the vis was perfect, like you say I just missed my target. But it was a bit worrying. All worked out well in the end

A fine wander wether you bagged everything or not. An excuse to return can't be a bad thing.
