I wish we had weather like yours during our Skye holidays :( We spent most of the time walking along the coast as it was too wet and cloudy to tackle anything in the Cuillin.

Thanks BP, such a shame your trip to skye was wet & cloudy, I know you were so looking forward to it, and to be honest I was looking forward to reading about it....you'll get it next time

Agreed! Feeling really homesick now :( Likely be another few years before I get back over there; will have to climb to the summit of one of these mountains next time

Thanks fi, your home nation is spectacular and I believe they are missing you  ....years away from this must be like hell....particularly if you came to hiking after you left....you must be kicking yourself

Thanks Morag, its a great circuit around the horseshoe and on the mountain itself but the walk by the road in and out spoils it a bit (some folks are just too fussy aren't they)
