Hi everyone, the gang were in the Peak District yesterday taking in 5 Dales. We started just past Buxton in the Wye Valley and headed for the Monsal Trail.

Been across those stepping stones a few times Sue,some nice walks around there.We were up your neck of the woods
a few weeks ago.Started from Wootton up the Weaver Hills down past Alton Towers and back up past Brookleys Lake
complete with Black Swans.

Some great pictures there Sue – I like the look of those stepping stones, although I would imagine you would struggle here if the river was in spate :?

Thanks for the replys, the water was covering some of the stones higher up the valley, it really is a nice walk and not far from us, will have to try the area you mention Garry :D

Looks like you had better weather over there than we did in Wales. Loved the reports brought back happy memories last walked the Monsal Trial about 17 years ago. Love the pics as usual.
