On the last day of our 3 days in the Lakes, Knee seemed better so we decided to try a "short" tour of Stickle Tarn and some pikes. Headed to The new Dungeon Ghyll , parked (plus payment - take coins!) and set off.

Great views, great , scrambling terrain , we cut up a scramble through the ridge at Pavey Ark rather than the round path round which was great fun.

First crossing on way up

We cut across to Harrison then due to time decided to head down.

Made it!

My knee then screamed at me again .... and continued for the full descent...

Anyway great day out, amazing terrain and amazing views down from Harrison.

That looks a great wee circuit coachmacca, lovely photos too, I think you should get a couple of walking poles to ease the load on that knee

Thanks ChrisW - tbh I have them , the terrain was more vertical than it looks and coming down it would have been more hindrance than help but I do use them often.

Got physio on Friday reckon its a common Illitobial Band issue - just need to strengthen afte rest ;-)

Just notced your in Calgary, I have family there too :) Heading next year to hike Banff so maybe get some ideas off you??!

Great views!
