Crinkle Crags Plus

We had decent weather when we set off a bit wet and low cloud; by the time we got to the Crinkles this was very low cloud gusting wind and heavy rain the conditions were awfull. Every now and then though the clouds lifted and we got a glimpse of the view around us which was handy as it helped us keep on the right track a few times, we did at least one Crinkle twice. Just a word of warning about the Big Step; It was wet and very very slippery I'm five foot ten and could reach the holds ok but it was a real struggle on the slippery rock. Unfortunately my fellow walker was a little shorter than me and couldn't reach the last knee up which resulted in her foot slipping off the little knob of rock. She ended up in a heap on the floor, luckily she didn't do any damage that stopped her walking but this left us with a problem. I couldn't get back down and she had no chance of getting up. With the very low viz this left us stuck, there is a bypass route but how would we find each other at the other side, We decided to give it a go with the agreement that if we hadn't found each other within fifteen minutes we would return to where we both were. We met with a few minutes to spare. We were very very lucky this didn't end badly so please be careful don't do it just because its there, if you get what I mean. If the conditions aren't right go round.
We did in the end have a fantastic day out here's the route and some pictures.
