langdale pikes and more

this is a great walk for knocking off wainwrights and pike of stickle is the best summit of the day the rest ,although the views are great, are quite uninteresting for their lack of features but if you come down via the stickle tarn barn there is quite a good selection of ale

If you don't think Pavey Ark is interesting, you've not gone up by Jack's Rake - a fantastic scramble which goes diagonally across the huge crag behind Stickle Tarn.

Agree that there aren't many adrenalin highs on High Raise though.

jacks rake was pointed out to us by someone and agreed it do look good but i will save that for another day

Nice wander that....I love the pikes and especially the route via Jack's Rake ....just ads a bit of adrenalin to this trip. Looks like you had a great day for it too!! :D
