This was one of the best walks I've done in quite a while. It was a great walk up the swollen rivers to Eagle Crag then a great little climb up to the top with wonderful views. Then a great walk back down. I could do this one again and again.

Thanks for the trip report. We will be staying for 2 nights in Rosthwaite while doing the Cumbria Way so this sounds like a nice way to spend one of the days.
