First snowy walk of the season. I think this one had everything you would expect of a winter walk, really enjoyed it . Here is the route and a few pictures

I did this route at the end of September and what a cracker it is too. I added Rannerdale Knotts onto the end to up my wainy tally. It was a grand way to end an enjoyable day.

Lovely winter wander Chris with just enough snow to whiten the tops......beautiful :D

Intended to do the knotts as well but ran out of daylight unfortunately

It was quite deep in places and frozen solid, would of been a great day to practice with my new crampons but I left them at home :(
