Melbreak & Hen Combe

Hen combe wasn't supposed to be my one hundredth wainwright but thats how it worked out. It was a great winters walk cold and frosty.

Well done on the ton up Chris, how was the crossing of Mosedale? was it frosty enough so you didn't have to swim across it? :wink: I took Hen comb in from Gavel Fell via Floutern Cop in mid summer, thinking that by sticking to the higher ground I'd escape the worst of the soggy bits...I didn't factor in the crossing of Grain Gill though.. I emerged having developed gills!!! :crazy:
