Recce of possible fell race route, although in winter boots and full kit it was only going to be tackled as a walk, so 4.45, which included stops on Drum and Bera bach. Weather favourable today, in fact after Foel Fras some blue skies. After descending route passes Aber Falls, which looked impressive with large amount of ice clinging to the rocks.
