Took the tourist trail. Went up with my then daughter-in-law, Tibessem, down with my son Michael. Wife Mary took the train up with Michael and back down with Tibs. I'm very glad I did it - and quite enjoyed it, especially the view from the top. Next time though I think I'll take a non-tourist route.

It's a superb mountain - my favourite in Britain... just one point though... it's not 'Mount' Snowdon - that's a European term!
