Shooting up Sharp Edge.

This was my second time along Sharp Edge and thankfully it was far less hairier than my first. The conditions this morning were perfect which was particularly good since I was leading my two mates Ash and Callum on the walk, the early morning mist lifted and watching Blencathra when heading along the A66 was very enticing.
Upon reaching a wee parking spot near Scales we shot off up the path and soon hunted down a group of three slower walkers. Before long we were at scales tarn and watched as two blokes descended. When they met us on the path it turned out that they had actually been going up and turned back to take the easier route to the south of the tarn. The younger chap explained that he couldn't see an obvious path at the deep notched part. Anyways we set off up and were soon on the arete. It was brilliant fun. Nice and dry and hardly any wind. (bar my own which my companions were none to pleased about) Aside from my gas we found no problems along the edge and were soon at the top. Here are a few shots taken on the edge.
