Two fine walks on a first visit to the North York Moors, much of the routes along the very well-maintained, often paved Cleveland Way.

Roseberry Topping is a spectacularly scarped peak for such a low (320m) hill, rising out of rural flatlands on three sides, but a good moorland ridge heading off east and south to the high-pass car park.

Cringle Moor is the highest point of a string of four peaks (quite deep depressions and stiff climbs between) on the north edge of the moors - a really good 'rollercoaster' walk over moors and (at the Wain Stones) even dramatic climbing rocks.
