Picws Du, Fan Fraith

A rather grey day, but still the Carmarthen Fan is one of the best places to walk in Wales - a pleasing new route, zigzagging on a good path up the cliffs and then very gently down the Beacons Way across the moors.

Then a quick 'bag' of Fan Fraith, up the forestry road until the last half-mile - a blind marshy slog through the mist to the indistinct summit. (Visit with Fan Gyhirych while the chance is there next time!).
