Started out from the Nag's Head in Edale and walked up by Grindsbrook and then crossed the top of Kinder to Kinder Gates and then Kinder Downfall. Returned via Kinder Low and descended by means of Jacob's Ladder. Then followed Pennine Way back to Edale.
Weather was cloudy, with visibility down to about 20<30 m. Windy and damp. Crossing the peat groughs was particularly difficult and unpleasant making navigation far from straightforward.
