Great walk from Berwick to Coldstream. Good path mostly throughout the walk, although overgrown in places but still easy to follow.

From Donaldsons Lodge to Cornhill Castle is a bit difficult as the map shows a path but this was not the case, made it up as I went along.

I did this walk in reverse today (2/6/22) and it is still a great walk spoiled by a poor path in places. Not only are sections overgrown, they are also poorly maintained with risk of trips and falls. Sections maintained by ghillies for fishing are easy and add to the enjoyment of the river. A few sections through woods are precipitous, the path is worn and holes hidden by overgrowth. Take care.
