Hello, another lovely weekend, just made for walking :D We parked at Hope in the White Peak area and had a steady amble through Castleton and up onto Rushup Edge, here we stopped at Lord's Seat so Paul could have his butties. It was then onward taking in Mam Tor at 517m. We then went on to Hollins Cross, the lowest part of the Great Ridge across here coffins were taken from Edale to Hope until a church was constructed in Edale,it is sometimes called the coffin road. Then on to Back Tor and Lose Hill before going south to Hope.
