This board helps you to share your walking route experiences in England and Wales... or overseas.
Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.

We parked the van on a road leading up to Kelswick farm near Brumston bridge which is marked as a track on the os map grid ref ny190292. This is another walk you can do back to back with Ling fell. Sorry I do not have any photos as my camera died on me. Of the five short walks Lindsay and I have done over the last five days we enjoyed this one the most. The times stated on the reports are walking times not the actual time spent on the summits drinking in the views and sun bathing.

Sale fell taken from Ling fell.
This was our second visit to the Lakes we will return hopefully in the not to distant future.
