We had a few days away in the Lakes at the stat of August and stayed in a lovely little cottage in Braithwaite, it would have been rude not to walk Barrow with us having a perfect view of it from our window :-) we also had the added bonus of not having to drive anywhere. Instead of heading up the more common route (straight up the front) We set off round the side which offered great views to Causey Pike.

Not really much to say on this walk other than it was a really pleasant way to spend a morning and offered great views all round for such a small hill

Hi Sarah86, at least your walk down in Englandshire resembles a hill, not like mine! Looks a nice wee leg stretch with at least a view from the top. But my maximum height gained was only130m so maybe that explains it!
