Having just completed a walk around Whinlatter quicker than I though I would I decided to have a quick trip up through Buttermere and then over Knott Rigg and Ard Crags. The weather had improved quite a bit from the morning the best of it seeming to be coming from the South to the North of the Lakes.
Sail, Crag Hill and Wandope.
The way ahead towards Keswick.
Robinson, Hindscarth (with maybe even a bit of Dale Head)and High Spy
Buttermere and the High Stile range.
Newlands Valley and Little Town.
Wow!
Considering this walk can be done in a relatively short time, you certainly get plenty of bang for your buck!
Walking can be dangerous and is done entirely at your own risk. Information is provided free of charge; it is each walker's responsibility to check it and navigate
using a map and compass.
