the extra time was taken when on the penine way after I left the wall, as the terrain was treacherously boggy and had to circumnavigate large frozen bog patches and hope I never fell through them.
This was an overnight walk.

It also was my first Bothy experience, and will be my last for some time. not an experience I enjoyed or want to do again any time soon!!!
