Moel Siabod is a fine mountain with a great view on any day, one which I have climbed many, many times and camped on a few times over the years...but none of those countless times came anywhere near to my wildcamp on this fantastic February evening.
I had high hopes of a cloud inversion as I set off from home, all the signs were there...high pressure, little wind, cloud forecasted etc. I was not to be dissapointed.
Once I left reached the snow line I started to see glimpses on the sun above, I will let the pictures tell the story....

The Moelwyn's.Snowdon.Oh and the stars that night! It was a fantastic day, and probably the best high wildcamp I have ever done.
Not so much during the night though....my Neoair let me down, making me have to re-inflate it several times,
the wind picked up and cloud spilled over. I finally gave in to having hardly any sleep packed up at 5am and headed down in the cloud and darkness.
Wouldn't have missed it for the world though!
