This is just a short report on 3 Wainwrights I bagged from the campsite I was staying at (Parkfoot near Pooley Bridge). From the campsite there is direct access to the fells via Aik Beck.
I then headed for Arthurs Pike which has dramatic views of Ullswater to the north, from there i took a heading to Bonscale Pike. There was a deep scare to negotiate on route to Bonscale Pike which added some interest and a little scramble.
There are a couple of strange towers on Bonscale Pike on the northern slope towards Ullswater. From Bonscale Pike i took a bearing to Loadpot Hill which seemed further away then the map suggested.
The walk over to Loadpot offered some good views over to Helvellyn it was a little hazy due to excessive heat. What I really enjoyed about this walk was the lack of other people in this area even on a half term weekend.

Haven't done those for years and years! :( Like those towers on Bonscale Pike - you've got a good pic of them there :D We didn't go into the gill between Arthurs & Bonscale Pikes, we contoured round it so we didn't have any scrambling...
