This is one of those days when you just feel good to be alive. Wonderful weather breathtaking vista. There is no place better than the lakes when its like this.

Top quality pics. Did you descend by Broad Stand or Foxes Tarn?

Great photos.

Upper Eskdale is a wonderful place, so much wilder than most of the Lake District. Don't know why I've never done Scafell from this side!

Beautiful shots Chris, I don't think I've seen better of the lakes, I love those cloud shadows - sitting on a summit watching them fold over the ground below is just fantastic :clap:

We got very lucky with the weather, it is a very special place though the scenery is outstanding
