Second hill walk of our honeymoon in Ireland. A warm sunny day for a change made for a pleasant ascent over the grassy eastern slopes. Path a bit patchy around midway I think but clearer later on.
We just ascended the easternmost top and then the narrow neck of ridge connecting onto the plateau beyond with great views of the north facing cliffs and the ocean beyond.

is this what married life is going to be like?

I couldn't see them either this morning but they're there now. I blame Google plus. A great walk I'd say.

Well, you know, there was quite a lot of rain so lots of rest time! In fact it was a bit of an odd trip in that it really did just rain apart from when we walked or at least the gaps in the rain fitted in well with our schedule.

Wanted to go to Croaghaun last year but didn't get the weather but still got nice walks to Menawn Heights and to Achill Head:
