Thanks :thumbup: I've not hiked Vancouver island yet but have got a guide book for the place gathering dust on my shelf :roll: . Almost got there last year but stayed on the mainland instead due to time constraints. Maybe I'll get out there in winter while it's freezing here :lol: Friends tell me it's green for a reason (a bit like Ireland) beautiful place but you can catch it wrong and be wandering in the pouring rain for days on end :?

I'm seriously thinking about a trip to the south of the island sometime soon as they have low rainfall there in the winter, watch this space :wink:
