Really bad forecasts this weekend with heavy rain and strong winds forecast.

Got up very early to try and beat them a bit and stayed local with an extended version of my normal exercise walk. Strange to be home by midday!

Just about got away with it with only a bit of drizzle and the wind on my back for the high level bit from Fairsnape to Saddle Fell.

Nice to see the Trig with a new coat of paint and it now has some red roses on it which weren't there on my last visit.
