Wed. Clear skies - From the access road to Marchlyn Mawr reservoir pass the old quarry Bach lake and stride uphill East pass the unnamed peak to the bouldery summit of Carnedd Y Ffiliast. Wet conditions defers an intended 300mt atlantic slab climb from the A5 - which would finish on the same point. The crags drop away into the Ogwen valley below giving great viewes Our weather is warm -the ground still wet - while the Mawr sparkles in sunlight .The Carneddau is clouding over - Mynydd Perfedd - drop to the col and up a slatey path to Foel Goch (one of four with the same name) - return to the bealach, then a steady climb to a stoney EIlidir Fawr. With this both Stewart an I complete all the Welsh 3000ft peaks..Then down scree to Elidir Fach , N,E, to the road , car and home . Seen enroute plenty of folk - the good weather brings them out - birds sheep dogs and yet more ponies- Fantastic two days - 11km 1000mt 4.5hrs
